He was the king of the apes, he had his crown and throne and everything. He looked honorable and somehow was beloved, too. He lived in his beautifull palace, the land was in peace and so was his mind. And oh, as the king of the apes he got to decide things now and then about what people should do or should'nt. But nevertheless most of the time he would let them do their own thing. They were all apes, they didn't have much disputes about things. Maybe they even didn't need a king for real, he used to think sometimes in the middle of the night, when he lay in his majestic canopy bed and the stars sprinkled through his bedrooms open window like little drops of silver milk. What would it be like to visit the stars he then thought. The folks down here would manage without him, he knew it. And as a king he should be allowed to go on vacation sometimes. A vacation from beeing king. The next morning he would set up a letter on gold-plated banana leaves telling everybody that he would take a time-out and they should just go on as they'd always done, look after the plantations as usual and all that stuff. "I believe in you. Your trustfull king. CU." he wrote, send out the letter to the exclamators, and then he simply left through a little secret door hidden under the elegantly decorated tapestry. As a king he naturally had such kind of a secret door. It led to... well, nobody knows, it was a royal secret. Did he visit the stars? The same with that, but for all we know, he was the sort of a guy who would go for his dreams. He wasn't the king of the apes for nothin'. Besides that, it's really none of our business. But never mind. Have a banana, have a nice day.

It has been reported, that the day he came back, he had to tell some really interesting stuff. In fact he made it into a theatrical play 'cause where he had been, theatre was considered to be the only and most honest way of speaking. That was the beginning of the golden age of apelands stageplays and recitations, which nowadays are famous all around the globe especially for the excellent fried bananas served around the festival.
